The word 'sangeet' is Sanskrit for "sung together." During this colorful and entertaining pre-wedding event, family & friends perform for the couple to celebrate the onset of their new journey together. There will be garba and dandiya raas, traditional Indian folk dances for everyone to learn—don't worry, this is done in a group or with partners!
Dinner will be served.

Baraat
Crystal Plaza (map)

We invite everyone to gather in the foyer at Crystal Plaza before the groom begins his journey to the mandap (stage)! Traditionally the baraat (or groom’s procession) could last up to a few days, but in this version, he will be dancing his way to the gate in the company of his friends & family! We invite both the bride’s side and groom’s side to join in this fun and energetic celebration to welcome Niraj’s grand entrance.
Recommended dress code: Formal Indian (same as Wedding Ceremony outfit)
